Vonjy Mada 85 is a non-profit organization that helps the population of Mahanoro (a small village in Madagascar) by helping its school, which is the school of Notre Dame de la paix, and its nearest rural clinic located at Marotsiriry (a neighbour village of Mahanoro). What the organization asked me to do for them was : to create a logo, a website and business cards. For the logo I was inspired by the traveller’s tree (the “ravenala”), a symbol of hospitality and charity in Madagascar’s culture. With that, I added the welcoming and giving hands and a symbolization of a child, who are key components of Vonjy Mada 85’s action.
